Bulletin #5 (Next Term, Recital Choir, Promotions + more!)

Dear families,

I hope your Easter plans are shaping up nicely ☺️

As we approach the end of term, I wanted to draw your attention to some important information.

TL;DR (for those who don’t want details)

  • Enrolments roll over automatically (email to change/cancel).
  • Term dates: Apr 2 (last day), Apr 20 (start), Apr 27 no lessons.
  • NEW POLICIES: One invoice per term (instalments allowed). Late fees apply for overdue payments.
  • Mid-year recital (June 27) needs more interest to go ahead. Express interest below.
  • Recital choir planned for all students, including those not performing solo (details below).
  • Polina & Amélie promoted (no fee change for continuing clients).
  • view raffle: chance to win a free lesson

    .

Details, for those who like them 😉

  • Your enrolment automatically rolls over to next term unless you express in writing your wish to discontinue or change your lesson times. As the majority of students continue at the same time on the same day when the new term rolls over, we have found it easier to ask you to notify us if you want to make changes, rather than asking all clients to confirm their re-enrolment separately. If you wish to change or cancel your enrolment, please email admin@allhandspianoacademy.com before the new term commences.
  • The last day of Term 1 is Thursday 2nd April. The first day of Term 2 is Monday 20th April. There will be no lessons scheduled on Monday 27th April due to the Anzac Public Holiday.
  • All term dates for 2026 are now viewable here.
  • Early Enrolment Discounts were for term 1 only.
  • Important policy changes are detailed below.

Policy Change No 1 - Single Invoices

From now on, we will not be issuing weekly invoices. Instead, we will issue a single invoice for the entire term.

Partial payments will be enabled, so clients may opt to pay the invoices incrementally (for example, weekly contributions) if preferred.

If paying by bank transfer please always forward a transaction receipt to emma@allhandspianoacademy.com so that I can mark the contribution on your invoice swiftly.

Policy Change No 2 - Late Payment Fees

Due to the ongoing administrative burden of chasing up unpaid invoices, late payment fees will apply from Term 2 onwards. Thank you for your understanding ☺️.

50% of the term balance (detailed on the invoice) will be due by the end of week 5 of the school term. Failure to pay 50% of the balance by this date will incur a $50 late fee.

100% of the term balance will be due by the last day of the school term. Failure to pay 100% of the balance by this date will incur a $50 late fee.

Once the term is finished, additional late fees of $50 each will be applied for every 2 weeks that balances remain unpaid or only partially paid.

Reminders will be set up to alert you of upcoming deadlines regarding your payment.

[reminder] Expression of Interest for Our Mid-Year Recital

Due to the considerable cost of running recitals and workshops, this year we will only be going ahead with the following events if we achieve a minimum number of registrations. We currently only have 75% of the expressions of interest required to go ahead with the mid-year recital.

Mid-Year Student Recital + Teacher Showcase
What: A shared recital event featuring student performances alongside performances by our teaching staff.
When: Saturday 27 June, 4:00pm–6:30pm
Where: Turramurra Uniting Church
Express interest here.

Once we have received adequate expressions of interest, we will ask clients to confirm participation by officially registering.

Recital Choir to Perform the New AHPA Anthem!

Pending the event going forward, we hope all students will join the All Hands Piano Academy Choir at our recital (details above). We will be debuting a new anthem to celebrate our awesome academy. This will be a great opportunity for students who are feeling too shy or nervous to perform solo, but would still like to come along to the event and be part of things.

Teachers will prepare students in their lessons by teaching them the song so that they’re ready to get up and perform on the day.

Stay tuned for more details…And please don’t forget to express your interest (link above) so that we can go ahead with the event!

Polina and Amélie Promoted to Senior Teaching Artists

Our fantastic teachers Polina and Amélie will be promoted to Senior Teaching Artists going forward, acknowledging their excellent teaching and accumulated professional experience.

Fees for current students of Polina and Amélie are not subject to any changes in Term 2.

New Teaching Artists Coming to AHPA soon…

Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement about the new teaching artists we will be welcoming in Term 2 and 3.

[reminder] Review Raffle

AHPA is seeking new reviews. If you'd like to go into a raffle to win a free lesson in Term 2, please either:

  1. Publish a review on google and send a a screenshot to emma@allhandspianoacademy.com; OR
  2. Email your review + star rating (out of five) to emma@allhandspianoacademy.com

If you are comfortable doing so, please mention your teacher's name in the review ☺️

All reviews will be published on our website.

The winner of the raffle will be announced at the end of Term 1.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this ☺️
