Details, for those who like them 😉

The Recital: Why You Should Come!

At past recitals, many students have not attended due to not feeling ready to perform solo in front of an audience. This year, to encourage all students to attend, we are providing all students the opportunity to perform in the AHPA choir and to see some of our teachers perform too.

This way, it is still a valuable experience even for students who are not wanting to perform solo.

We've also changed the time to a late afternoon event, to try to minimise clashes with other Saturday activities.

So please, if you've never attended a recital, consider making this your first one ☺️...it will be the most memorable recital yet!

[Reminder] Recital Registration and Tickets

Purchase tickets for our Mid-year Recital here.

To officially register for performance, please purchase a "Participating Family" ticket. That is all you need to do for now.

I will reach out to all participating families closer to the date asking you to send me your repertoire details and scheduling requests.

The participating family includes tickets for 2 audience members and helps to cover the costs of putting on the event. Additional tickets can be purchased on the event page. Babies and Toddlers (ages 2 and under) get free entry but please add their tickets (zero dollars) to your cart when purchasing your tickets so that we have an idea of numbers.

Warm ups will be staggered from 4pm. Doors will open at 4:30pm. Performances will commence at approximately 4:45pm.

Thank you to our incredible teachers Neon, Amélie, Polina + Leo for agreeing to showcase their talents at the recital! I will also be there to accompany our debut choir performance. AHPA anthem coming soon...

[Reminder] Leo Chin: New Teaching Artist

Our newest recruit, Leo Chin is available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays to teach both piano and flute. Leo comes highly recommended by his students. Please help us spread the word ☺️...and don't forget to get your friends to mention your name when they book their trial (see details below).

[Reminder] New Refer-a-Friend Policy

Our refer-a-friend policy has changed, starting from this term.

From now on, you will receive a $10 discount (unlimited times), applied to your next invoice, every time a new clients puts your name in the "how did you hear about us" box prior to purchasing a trial lesson. All you have to do is tell your friends to mention your name when signing up (send them here https://allhandspianoacademy.com/contact_us).

[Reminder] Amélie is Teaching Mornings

Our beloved teacher Amélie Gnatek is opening up her calendar to teach lessons in the morning before school. If you are interested in morning lessons, please email me: emma@allhandspianoacademy.com

[Reminder] Term Dates & Public Holidays

Unless otherwise discussed, there will be no lessons scheduled on public holidays Saturday 25th April (today), Monday 27th April or Monday 8th June.

All term dates for 2026 are now viewable here.

[Reminder] Cancellation Form is renamed to Absence Form

It has occurred to me that the term “cancellation” is confusing as we do not really offer the opportunity to "cancel" your weekly lessons. The new terminology will be “absence policy” and “absence form”. As per previous terms, the options to request a reschedule, take your lesson online, or have your teacher spend the time preparing learning materials for the student, will remain available to you in the event that the student cannot attend their weekly lesson.

[reminder] Policy Change No 1 - Single Invoices

From now on, we will not be issuing weekly invoices. Instead, we will issue a single invoice for the entire term.

Partial payments will be enabled, so clients may opt to pay the invoices incrementally (for example, weekly contributions) if preferred.

If paying by bank transfer, please always forward a transaction receipt to emma@allhandspianoacademy.com so that I can mark the contribution on your invoice swiftly.

Please note: Early Enrolment discounts were available for term 1 only.

[reminder] Policy Change No 2 - Late Payment Fees

Due to the ongoing administrative burden of chasing up unpaid invoices, late payment fees will apply from Term 2 onwards. Thank you for your understanding ☺️.

50% of the term balance (detailed on the invoice) will be due by the end of week 5 of the school term. Failure to pay 50% of the balance by this date will incur a $50 late fee.

100% of the term balance will be due by the last day of the school term. Failure to pay 100% of the balance by this date will incur a $50 late fee.

Once the term is finished, additional late fees of $50 each will be applied for every 2 weeks that balances remain unpaid or only partially paid.

Reminders will be set up to alert you of upcoming deadlines regarding your payment.

Winner of the Review Raffle Announcement.

Thank you to the winner of our review raffle Sarah Luo. We appreciate your lovely review!

Many thanks for taking the time to read this ☺️
